Current Parnterships

Tacoma SEED

Tacoma SEED (501c3) is our fiscal sponsor and governing Board. Their role in our work is primarily fiduciary, dispersing funds coming to HUG through grants, individual donations, and organizational revenue.

Black Moms Rock

BMR is a young Tacoma-based grassroots organization who's efforts center Pan African principles and their role in our efforts are housing BIPOC community members in the HUG farm house, contributing to our food network, and organizing Black Sunday.

Hilltop Action Coalition

HAC is a community-based coalition and 501(c)3 nonprofit that engages residents, businesses, and partner organizations to build and sustain a resilient community. Their role in our work is organizing volunteers and boosting our outreach signal.

Pierce Conservation District

PCD’s mission is to equitably support community-driven solutions to our most pressing local environmental challenges. Their role in our work is expanding the scope of community resilience opportunities available to us and PCD also boosts our outreach signal.
