Our Team & Work Culture

HUG is powered by Tacoma SEED (our Fiscal Sponsor), dedicated staff, a total community effort, and focused partnerships. Our staff carefully guides the foundation of the organization through the intentional and compassionate building of community-serving careers focused on shared power, transparency, and good stewardship of resources. The expectation is that all employees, contractors, and volunteers will represent and demonstrate the values of integrity, sustainability, fiscal responsibility, and self-care in their work for the organization.

MEET OUR TEAM

Dedication. Compassion. Impactful.

Our team members diligently, intelligently, skillfully, and gracefully bring our mission and vision to fruition. They are splendid in personal and professional growth, community connection, and uplifting one another to practice the organizational values we strive to embody in our work. They're the real force behind the resiliency and resistance required to break through racial trauma cycles; bringing social justice ideas into reality, standing in, and closing community need gaps.
